"Sharing Yoga Mornings" are held quarterly on a Sunday *
When: 9-30am to Mid-day (Registration begins from 9-00 am)
Where: Theosophical Society Bldg, 309 South Tce, Adelaide.
What to bring: Bring your yoga mat, blanket and cushion, and a vegetarian lunch to share afterwards. Hot drinks provided.
Fee: Full members and Friends of the Institute $10, Non members $20

Sharing Yoga Morning*
'Integrated Approach of Yoga Therapy (IAYT) for Hypertension and Arthritis'

IAYT is a holistic way of addressing diseases. Yoga therapy teaches one to harmonise and balance all five kosa of ones existence hence providing a more long-lasting and permanent relief unlike modern medicine which deals with the physical sheath and provides a temporary relief.
This workshop is designed to provide therapy for managing hypertension and arthritis with an aim of addressing the body at various kosa or sheaths and finally eradicating the root cause of the disease.
Rupa Ghosh is a qualified yoga therapist from SVYASA (Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusanusandhana Samasthana) a deemed university. She has worked as a therapist at a Therapy Centre in India teaching yoga to patients suffering from hypertension, diabetes, anxiety and depression, PCOD, psoriasis, back-pain, as well as taken classes for stress management, pre-natal classes and general yoga classes.

Would you like to participate in a regular Kirtan gathering?
Where: 4A Statenborough St, Leabrook
(off Tusmore Ave which runs between Greenhill and Portrush Rds.
Best to park in Statenborough St then walk to the house which is half way along our shared driveway between No 4 and No 6. Our house is not visible from the road.)
When: Second Friday of each month
Time: 7 - 8.30pm
What to bring: Please let yourself be the most important item.
Optional: instruments to click, tick, bang & a simple supper if you can stay afterwards. Water and herbal, green and black teas available.
Fee: Gold coin donation.

Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training 2012

Kundalini Yoga or the 'yoga of awareness' was brought to the West in 1969 by Yogi Bhajan, The Master of Kundalini Yoga and Mahan Tantric. Before this time Kundalini Yoga was practised in India and Tibet but was a secret practice only passed down selectively and verbally from master to disciple. Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training is a unique and experiential yoga certification programme. You will explore your own potential, challenge yourself, and touch your soul.
Schedule: Training will be held at 4 retreats over 8 months. All retreats are fully residential (textbooks, accommodation and catering is included in course fee). Retreats are held in September & December 2012, February and April/May 2013.
